Charlotte Cosh

4-1 Charlotte Cosh, b. 12 October, 1879 in England, D. 10 December 1943, M. Walter Balch of England on 4 October 1894 in Sussex. (Divorced).
    Charlotte worked for a doctor assisting with home deliveries, then as a nurse for the mother and child until the mother was well, usually 10 days or two weeks. Later she was a partner at a maternity hospital in New York City. Ann lost her sight and Charlotte's health failed (ulcers) so Charlotte returned home as housekeeper for her parents.

5-1 Ernestine (Ena) Balch (step-daughter), B. 6 Matrch 1891 in England, M. Charles Ford on 18 Novermber 1918 WW1 Air Force Veteran (D. 6 April 1982).
    Came to the USA at age 5. Her father and Charlotte had separated, so she resided with Tom and Ann Cosh. While in elementary school, she went to Pine Bush, NY with her father, then to Ohio where she graduated as a nurse, returned to Middletown, and later worked for Manhattan shirt Company. Retired to Scotchtown, NY.

6-1 Clara Jane Ford, B. 2 July 1922, M. Lester Earl Martin on 29 January, 1944 at Waco Air Force Base, Waco, Texas.
    She was office manager Walden printing. Now part-time Town of Wallkill. Lester was a contractor, then involved with electronics, now retired residing in Middletown, NY.

7-1 Sharon Rae Martin, B. 12 January, 1947, M. Lewis Zankel.
    Both are employed by New York State Dept. of Labor. Reside in Troy, NY.

7-2 Nancy Lynn Martin, B. 26 December 1947, D. 9 December 1949.

7-3 Thomas Earl Martin, B. 18 January 1952.
    Employed at the Middletown Psychiatric Center. Resides in Middletown.
